Cash cap goes away in Uncharted 2's Thanksgiving event

Thanksgiving Event UPDATE

Developer Naughty Dog sure loves Thanksgiving as they do love their Uncharted 2 community, this time not only they are preparing a new the Lab playlist which will feature Sniper only plunder matches with double cash enabled but they are also ready to remove a feature which many members of the community thought of not necessary since the beginning of the game lifetime, and its none other than cash cap.

After going through lots of research carefully looking at some of the game data from their Anniversary event, the dogs have agreed that its no longer necessary and plan on removing said feature forever, yeah forever, during their upcoming event due from November 24th - 29th. However they have also committed to keep everyone in check just to make sure this removal doesn't mean an open season for players who try to spoil the fun by exploiting the game's multiplayer component.

Anyway keep an eye on the NaughtyDog's blog or community forums for more info about the upcoming Thanksgiving event.

Shinji Mikami comments on Vanquish difficulty

Renowned designer, Shinji Mikami, has made a stop on Platinum Games blog to comment about the different difficulty modes offered by his upcoming masterpiece, Vanquish; which will try to satisfy all tastes.

Vanquish will include three difficulty modes, which Mikami describes as follows:
  • Casual Automatic: which will execute all the shoot out stuff automatically once you get your target on sight, despite that Vanquish's over the top action will hook you up even if it sounds all the opposite.
  • Normal: your all around standard difficulty for players who desire a little of challenge without being overly hard, this is Mikami's recommendation since he thinks people may need time to get used to the shooting mechanics.
  • God Hard: designed specifically for those who want the highest challenge available, though i would say go play Demon's Souls. Mikami states this mode will be a lot of fun to some masochists players but its definitely not the one recommended to start off with the game.
Which of these three difficulties will you choose when Vanquish arrives with all the over the top action awesomeness ever on October 19th?
